I love nuclear and have been a huge cheerleader for the past five years.
But this New York Climate Week, I’ve changed my tone to be a lot more direct. Why?
Because this is the *last* nuclear renaissance and we cannot afford to focus on vaporwave solutions that won’t get nuclear to scale.
It’s time to build. If the western nuclear industry can’t capitalize on the current tsunami of political, public and private investment support, it’ll be hard to see why it should be given another chance.
Extend the operation of existing plants, restart or rebuild recently closed ones and start building licensed reactors.
