Should have been 20+ years for this sick fuck.

This was always the plan. Project 2025 was Donald Trump's blueprint to seize unchecked power within the federal government and restrict Americans' freedoms. And he is implementing it right in front of our eyes.

As the shutdown looms, let’s play; what are the facts? FACT: Trump wants to distract from Epstein. RELEASE THE FILES FACT: Republicans run the House, Senate, & White House… if there is a shutdown, Real Math says it’s the REPUBLICANS’ SHUTDOWN. FACT: Republicans only know how to break shit & then deflect & deny any accountability.

There were 5 MASS SHOOTINGS IN 24 HOURS! Trump’s FBI cannot protect us. He has them focused on targeting his political opponents rather than protecting us.

So, let me get this straight.... President Biden offered student loan forgiveness to help young adults get ahead in life and with their finances. The @GOP @HouseGOP @SenateGOP took him to court citing "executive overreach" and "cost to taxpayers." But nnoowww, Republicans are perfectly ok with giving student loan forgiveness to new ICE agents, plus a $50,000 sign-on bonus. MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE

I want to say how much I value my partnership with Apple. They’ve been incredible collaborators and I deeply respect their team. That said, I wanted to reach out and let you know that we’re not aligned on the decision to pause the release of The Savant. In the last five years since we’ve been making the show, we’ve seen an unfortunate amount of violence in the United States: the kidnapping attempt on Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer; the January 6th attack on the Capitol; the assassination attempts on President Trump; the political assassinations of Democratic representatives in Minnesota; the attack on Speaker Pelosi’s husband; the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk; the recent shooting at an ABC affiliate station in California; and over 300 school shootings across this country. These incidents, though far from encompassing the full range of violence witnessed in the United States, illustrate a broader mindset that crosses the political spectrum and must be confronted. I’ve never shied away from difficult subjects, and while I wish this show wasn’t so relevant, unfortunately it is. The Savant is about the heroes who work every day to stop violence before it happens, and honoring their courage feels more urgent than ever. While I respect Apple’s decision to pause the release for now, I remain hopeful the show will reach audiences soon. Until then, I’m wishing safety and strength for everyone, and I’ll let you know if and when The Savant is released.

Conan O’Brien reacts to Jimmy Kimmel being taken off the air: “The suspension of Kimmel and the promise to silence other Late Night hosts for criticizing the administration should disturb everyone on the Right, Left, and Center.  It’s wrong and anyone with a conscience knows it’s wrong.”

We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.” His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.” We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
.@RepAOC @AOC on House-passed resolution honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk: "Instead of uniting Congress in this tragedy with one of the many bipartisan options to condemn political violence and Kirk's murder, as we did with the late Melissa Hortman, instead the majority proceeded with a resolution that brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow and the legacy of bigotry today."
