With EU support, @UNHCRUkraine is delivering 50+ generators and hundreds of portable stations to Ukrainian communities hit by blackouts — ensuring warmth, light, and safety for displaced and vulnerable families this winter.
Construction has begun on a new temporary housing project for displaced families in Poltava🏗️
Led by the Poltava City Council & supported by UNHCR, this will result in 12 fully equipped apartments — helping vulnerable families transition to stable, dignified living.
During evacuation, Yevhen & his wife lost documents proving ownership of their home, while the registry in the occupied area was destroyed in a fire.
With support from donors like @NorwayMFA🇳🇴, UNHCR helps displaced & war-affected Ukrainians access legal aid & social protection.

UNHCR & partner @SSS_Ukraine held the Inter-regional Forum “Social Sphere in the Conditions of War” in Dnipro 🇺🇦, gathering 70+ participants to discuss inclusion of displaced people, implementation of assisted living services & reforms in Ukraine’s social protection system.
The Forum of IDP Councils in Lviv brought together representatives from 8 regions to share local solutions & strengthen the participation of displaced people in decision-making.
