2/3 through Cormac McCarthy's The Passenger, very weird dual narrative plot line, gets a little expository like Neal Stephenson but overall incredible writing. Completely different from The Road.

Save yourself a *lot* of time, if you have a newer monitor and need a KVM switch make absolutely sure it supports HDMI v2.1. Most don't and you're out a couple hundred and weeks going back and forth with tech support.
