Staying safe during spooky season doesn’t have to be scary! That's why IUPD is here to give you a few tips and tricks to stay safe this Halloween. 🎃🦺 👀Arrive safely - Drive slowly, as people may be unexpectedly crossing the street, when walking, stay in well-lit areas and check both ways before crossing the street. 🍺Never drink and drive - Always assign a designated driver before you start drinking, utilize ride services such as Uber and Lyft to get home safely (Remember to always verify the driver and vehicle before getting in!) 📞Trust your gut - If something does not feel right, leave the area and report any suspicious activity to local authorities. And as always, call 911 if there is an emergency. 🔗Stay safe this spooky season and read up on more tips and tricks before you hit the streets: bit.ly/4okKnCq
