From an early age, Charlotte Ipsan knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. She knew that dream would require a college degree — something no one in her family had yet achieved. After stepping away in 2023 to prioritize her mental health, pro tennis player and @iueast student through @IU_Online, Amanda Anisimova, returned to the court with a renewed sense of purpose and a lesson we could all learn from. 🧠🎾 Following her return in 2025, Anisimova reached two Grand Slam finals and climbed to World No. 4, all while embracing a mindset rooted in honesty, balance, and resilience. Thanks to a $3 million award from the National Science Foundation’s Safety, Security and Privacy of Open-Source Ecosystems program, two new cybersecurity projects, led by experts at @KelleySchool and @IUILuddy, will be fully funded to better protect national research data and personal health records.
