Matt LaFleur called Jordan Love's fourth-and-8 attempt in the red zone on Sunday "a tough play." Romeo Doubs got pushed out of the end zone, but LaFleur wanted him to fight back for the ball. "We don't necessarily want to be throwing across the grain, even if it is fourth down," he says. "I'd rather him throw to the side where he's scrambling to. [Doubs] still has to try to make a play on the ball because the last thing you want to do is give up a pick-six in that situation while it's a one-possession game."

Matt LaFleur said that today's loss will be a "tough pill to swallow" for the Packers and the only way to rebound from it is to have a solid week of practice. "I know that's not the sexiest answer everybody wants to hear, but that's reality," he says. "Win or lose, you have to go back to the drawing board and go back to work. I know our guys are extremely disappointed, but all you can do is—you better be man enough to watch the tape, be critical and make any necessary adjustments that we need to make in order to become the team we all want to become. But today, it was extremely disappointing."
