We know somebody's in Newsome's staff will read this, it's imperative to stop CARB's decision on the fate of Natural Gas appliances future in our state. 1 - Current homes in California are not wired for Large Electric Appliances. 2 - If you currently have even a newer 2 story house in California there's no way you can pull in bigger wire to your homes interior. Your going to have to put conduit on the side of your house so you can run 14 AWG or bigger wire to your new oven. That will add thousands of dollars to your cost to go with your new electric oven. 3 - The cost to California's consumers would be enormous to convert gas appliances to electric. People are already paying the nations highest electric rates. People can't afford there electric costs as it is. It will not be energy efficient to convert to electric heating or cooking, clean Natural Gas is 20 times more efficient in heating your house or warming your water or cooking your food. 4 - CARB's recent mandates have in this year alone increased the costs for a new or replacement forced air furnace. The cost went from 29,000 in 2024 to over 35,000 in 2025 because of CARB's mandate. 5 - Your are going to stop this or the EPA is going to override all of CARB's climate goals. @elonmusk
