Yep I agree, the bots on this platform are insane right now. Which is truly sad and as of this post date and time I have spent a good part of my day just trying to find a realistic bot detector.
Sadly I would not be surprised if half of my followers are bots. Because I do exactly what I'm supposed to do on this platform and that is engage.
Paying $339 a year for premium plus, is becoming not worth it. Writing code with grok is great. But the rest of this is getting ridiculous. Either they need to have native tools. Or flat out stop the monetization and then all these bot farms will go away.
Will the platform become a ghost town, Probably not, Because this platform is still the town square. People will just pivot and just put in their bios or in their posts if you want to donate me go here in their posts.
There's got to be a balance somewhere and currently there is no balance. And you can't go to other social media platforms because they're just echo chambers for their ideology. I'm looking at you truth social and Blue Sky, Mastodon and such.
In my personal opinion X is not in a good place right now. I have to call it out as I see it.
