It's amazing too because Philadelphia and Baltimore appear large but they aren't Important cities. Graduates mostly don't move there and aspirational jobs there are minimal.

Indeed ... good point. Fast transport, among other things, provides more people to do the work in these centers and allows many businesses to function in areas with lower fixed costs like rent.
