It’s a global male issue

This is why I'm not overly enthused when GP only do their work when we talk on social media. Because this guy would have continued like nothing happened. Like every issue in the country, we need to fix it at an institutional level.

There are 3/4 cases in the news every single day. Just imagining the ones that do not reach mainstream media.

Many of us were not born when mzbel was heavily criticized for her song 16 years which was drawing awareness on pedophilia but the song konkonteba was a jam and I think even won awards and was backed by the masses as just a hit song. I don’t think people see rape as an offense.

Nd no one gives af about it cos they see it to be normal.

Yet, musicians like King Paluta think it’s okay to rap about sexually assaulting children because they “look 18”. Our society is sick.
