So many people in the replies seem to think you should shame people for admitting they were wrong, when in fact our politics would be 1000 times better if people were more like Bill was in this instance and less like them.
Bill Maher experiences instant regret after insisting people “don’t move” because of elections.
Maher went from confident to conceding in seconds as O’Reilly hit him with hard facts.
MOSKOWITZ: “We’ll see if they move [because of Mamdani].”
O’REILLY: “They’re already moving.”
MAHER: “No, they’re not. People say they’re gonna move all the time after elections. They don’t do it.”
O’REILLY: “You know how many people moved out of New York City in the last three years? 600,000. They’re moving!”
MOSKOWITZ: “Yeah, they’re moving. They’ve been moving from COVID.”
O’REILLY: “You know how many people moved out of your state, California?”
MAHER: “Oh, I know.”
O’REILLY: “Under Newsom?”
MAHER: “No, no. People do move.”
O’REILLY: “A million!”
MAHER: “No doubt about that. People move in America. And you’re right.”
O’REILLY: “No, but they’re not moving because they want a better view. They’d like to keep more of their money that they earn.”
MAHER: “Yes, that’s true. Yeah. That’s true.”
