You need an ID to enter a federal facility , boarding a plane, or buying age-restricted items like alcohol or tobacco products. How much more for voting?

Some of the Democrats have openly expressed their desire to harm us. The ones who haven’t been caught openly expressing harming us supported the ones who did. They fight against law & order. They care more about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS than US CITIZENS! WE SEE THEM FIGHT FOR THEIR “RIGHTS”, but what about our rights & the rest of us who want to live a normal life without crime and chaos? DEMOCRATS LOVE CHAOS AND HATE LAW & ORDER! The minimum we can do is abolish the filibuster, enact voter ID laws, and ensure that they never regain power.

It's actually because in order to register to vote, a valid source of ID is required. This proposed legislation would be like asking for your ID once you enter a liquor store and then again at time of purchase.

You have to show ID to register. It's why we have a whole registration process. (Also, GOP as forgotten that they are now the party of low propensity voters. Careful. Voter ID would probably help Dems now.)
