every day I would say Ethos support averages 1-2 request about compromised wallets like full on pkey compromise i still have no idea how this happens so often. and it’s literally only people under 1400.

I’m more than happy to share that I’m part of the Ethos Curator Program! Why Ethos? Simply because it fits effortlessly into my usual content. Most of the threads I’ve written in the past could easily be seen as Ethos reviews. The value I see in Ethos I also have a unique relationship with the platform. Many people think of Ethos as just a score, but I see it more as a kind of warning. When I notice a red circle around an account, I open the profile and read through the reviews. Based on what I find, I form my own version of an Ethos score. Everyone has their own sense of good and evil. Having a record of what a specific account has done helps you form your own opinion. I find that extremely valuable, even outside the crypto bubble.

We've been thru this before, and we will be thru it again. Your score is live, fluid, and changes. It moves with everyone else's score, too. I cannot make a meaningful product unless we adapt, and thus.. adapt or die.

I get it, it sucks. No one wants to look at their score and go "Ah shit, I'm less credible than yesterday??" especially if you've been on Ethos for a while I don't like shipping these types of updates. At all. but it is REQUIRED for Ethos to do this, consistently.

we have to operate in the best interest of the business in the protocol. if no one values the Ethos score, the score is irrelevant - and your own score being higher than say, Vitalik's, is meaningless too.

as we continue to bring the scores everywhere, we must increase confidence from consumers, partners, integrators that scores represent reputation WELL many people at the top will lose 150-250 credibility score, but this will balance scores to be much more accurate and fair

expectation setting: there will be a lot of FUD around Ethos & scores this week once we ship adjustments reminder, we have to make calls in the best interest of the protocol, not in the interest of individual people it comes from ensuring the scores are as ACCURATE as possible
