Difficult day - the score tells 5% of the story.

Scalping rules on my monitor 1. Define invalidation before entry - price or condition 2. No debate: if invalidated, hit market exit immediately. 3. No re-entry unless a new, independent setup appears. 4. Never widen a stop -reduce size or flatten. 5. After a trade - breathe, mark reason, and re-focus - no recovery trades.
This is not good price action. I don’t mind as I am looking for a third long this weekend - ideally close to 40. But this whole move across the majors feels forced.
Meanwhile I’m listening to 60 Minutes Australia excoriating ex-Prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Fuck me the Aussies really know how to dish out abuse like proper chads!
Time to unleash the perpetual TWAP order!
If my wife knew what I was up to at 2am she’d give me a verbal kick in the arse

Think we are still in a trader’s market here. Hard to trust breakouts to hold in either direction. Unless Bitcoin accepts above 106 (time / volume) I will most likely stick to the ranges and taking opportunistic short term scalps here and there
$ETH tagged an important level today (the famous Last Low Pre Breakout) and immediately faded. I missed it of course. But interesting the volume falloff after that high volume Trump stimmy candle
Might need to inject more capital to accommodate a slightly higher risk ($) per trade. I’d rather take more trades at max 1% risk than fewer at 3%-5% and risk blowing up
Started a 10k (10.2k precisely) tester account on Thursday on @Lighter_xyz and I am really impressed. Not sure it’s wise to post interim result so far but anyways

Fantastic post.
Replying to @imotw2
edges are not monolithic. their lifespan is determined by the economic frictions that create them and the barriers that protect them from competition. thanks for reading, and have a good weekend lads. /fin

I must say I am enjoying trading on @Lighter_xyz But one thing I noticed is there is a constant flicker in the price across all timeframes - which is reminiscent of the casino lights in late 90s Vegas. It makes me a bit queezy - like staring at a price ladder for too long - you know you'll just take some shitty trades
dont think it has to be too complicated. We are in a range within a range. I knoiw where I want to start paying attention again

I don’t know man - sometimes I wish I never spent years learning order flow and all sorts of hard stuff and just traded Bollingers and RSIs.
