Keep the $ as close to home as possible. Ideally, that means return it to the tax payer in the first place. In reality, at least invest in NYC

Why should Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE and other countries invest trillions in the US? Why would Israel share with us their Iron Dome technology as a base to build the US Golden Dome? Why why why? Things are more complicated than your small 'blame-the-jews-for-everything' brain can understand.

All gov entities invest - To earn stable returns and be able to pay retirement benefits. Israel offers attractive returns coupled with growing economy. Its not about supporting politics its capitalism
