Finally after 18 mos, my PR to gnark got merged: BLS12-381 G2 signature verification circuit implementation. My original PR was github.com/Consensys/gnark/p… Then @ikubjas developed more codes based on it and it became github.com/Consensys/gnark/p…, merged four days ago. Glad to contribute.

Lower the fee rate from 1.0% to 0.3%. Contract address updated but hidden from the UniSwap UI.

Still, we removed TLS v1.2 from server config. Since v1.3 had been around for a few years, we expect no compatibility issues. 2000 L2T was air dropped to the reporter, who does not have an X account to mention here.
Besides email spoofing, we also received reports about CBC mode use in the TLS v1.2 connectivity, along with some other reports. None could be verified or lead to actual exploit. For example, OpenSSL had adopted proper defense many years ago.

In case that Bitcoin main-net is producing new blocks slower than expected, it is inevitable that we have to postpone some deposits for a while. But all valid deposits will pass through eventually.

As we had pointed out before, we rely on the core incompetence of all attackers here: that attackers do not have sufficient hashing power to mine sufficient number of blocks in known limited period. This period is related to how fast Bitcoin main-net is producing new blocks.

In our security document we explain our design principle as "security over user experiences" github.com/lightec-xyz/zkbtc…. This explains the latest deposit being delayed due to Bitcoin main-net generating blocks slower than the average 10-minutes. The current rate is 10.8 mins.

First thing is to test with the Sepolia testnet. Maybe we don’t need to uograde anything. I just find clarifications saying that transactionRoot and receiptRoot are NOT changed in Verkle upgrade.
Starting now, the Lightec Labs team will be working on the upcoming Verkle upgrade. This is Ethereum's hard fork upgrade, meaning our current circuit based on MPT will not work once Ethereum is upgraded from MPT to Verkle. Relax, we will get it done and your zkBTCs are safe.

The reward is 10500 L2T per bridged BTC, limited to 4.2 BTC. Surprisingly this is running out pretty quickly. Only 0.06 BTC left as of this writing. But don't worry, there are still liquidity incentives.
