Around this time two years ago, I lost my elder brother, Iskilu. I grew up looking up to him he always pushed me to go to school, work hard, and never give up. He believed in me, gave me books to read, and wanted the best for me. Sadly, he took his own life after losing his leg in a terrible accident. He got depressed, couldn’t get a normal job anymore, and felt like all hope was gone. We never recovered his body after he jumped off Third Mainland Bridge. It still hurts that I never got the chance to tell him how far I’ve come how I moved from having just 700 naira to earning $15,000 in a year, all from working online. I wish he knew he didn’t have to work onsite to survive I could have taught him what I know. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to sharing knowledge and helping others find remote opportunities. Many people have landed real paying jobs just using their phones. I’m still on this journey to defeat poverty, and I hope to make him proud. I miss you, brother. Broke ones will rise again Rest in peace, Iskilu. 🕊️
