We fought for Harvey at 12 weeks pregnant when we got the diagnosis. We fought for Harvey at 36 weeks pregnant when they suggested withdrawing medical care at birth. We fought for Harvey when we found out he had severe scoliosis and had only been linked to an orthopaedic surgeon that deals with feet. We fought for Harvey when they dismissed my concerns around allergies-later diagnosed as anaphylactic. We fought for Harvey when they tried to provide a buggy instead of a wheelchair.
