This childish statement *actually* came from Pierre Poilievre’s office. Zero ability to self reflect and completely unwillingly to accept even the tiniest amount of responsibility for what happened. 🤦‍♂️

By the way, the abuse I received was led and fed by the same Conservative politicians.
I don't like talking about the hate & abuse I received in politics. I don't need sympathy. But we do need change. And I promised to support women & girls who want to go into politics. So here is my story. We need to stop this. Now. Thanks @thewalrus! thewalrus.ca/they-called-her…

Chris d’Entremont does his first interview as a Liberal MP. Coming next hour on CBC news. Here is a sneak peak: “People (conservative MP’s) aren’t happy with the leadership style, not just of the leader, but of the leadership team.” “Quite honestly I felt I was part of a frat house than a serious political party.” 🔥🔥🔥

Something the Cons have completely lost sight of is that the official opposition is there to offer hopeful alternatives and be a potential govt in waiting. It’s not there to incessantly rage-farm, character assassinate and sow hatred, anti-science and disinformation.
There used to be an unspoken standard among leaders that you don't give major addresses at the same time as the Prime Minister. And vice versa. You speak before or AFTER. This is yet another in a long list of things Pierre does that is petty, dishonourable and unbecoming.

Is it any wonder why someone would leave this party.
First person he hugs is the minister responsible for protecting pedos. Great job Chris.

My latest: THE SUPREME COURT HAS THROWN OUT THE CHILD PORNOGRAPHY LAW Well, they found the mandatory minimum sentence provision was overbroad, but— THEY WANT PERVERTS TO GO FREE No, they said the mandatory minimum sentence, or longer, should apply in nearly all cases. They were just concerned that it might catch much less severe cases LIKE WHAT Like teenagers texting photographs THAT NEVER HAPPENS It happens quite often actual— THE ONLY ANSWER IS THE NOTWITHSTANDING CLAUSE In fact all that’s required is a simple tweak of the law WHO WILL SAVE US FROM THESE LUNATIC JUDGES It was the judges that suggested it theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…
Completely false. The budget proposes to give Permanent Residency to Protected Person. That’s people who have already been given protection in Canada by a tribunal and are just waiting for their permanent residency. Confusing asylum claims with protected persons is a dirty trick.
The Liberals allowed hundreds of thousands of backdoor economic migrants to make asylum claims after illegally crossing the border. Instead of fixing the system they broke, the Libs are letting them jump the queue en masse to get PR over people who played by the rules. Gross.
The folks at the Hub need to update their ad copy here, because none of this is true. Inflation is way down over the last 12 months. Employment is actually up over the same period.

Matt Jeneroux @jeneroux is a man of great character. I very much enjoyed working with him to have Parliament adopt his private member’s bill on bereavement leave. He works across the aisle & he will be missed in the House of Commons. Proud to call him a friend.

She’s absolutely right. The whole get Trudeau strategy is a losing strategy mostly because Trudeau is no longer PM. But Poilievre is obsessed with Trudeau. Probably because JT outsmarted him in the final months leading up to election and caused him to lose his huge lead.

I really appreciate you taking time away from your stakeout at Justin Trudeau's house to come and discuss adult things today. Can I offer you some sparkling water, or perhaps an apple to chew loudly?
