I think being tethered to a bunch of schools that apparently need a private equity payday loan to survive for the next 20 years is far scarier than whatever this empty threat is.
Replying to @RossDellenger
If Michigan and USC do not agree to the capital deal with UC Investments, the schools may lose millions in additional capital funds and risk their future within the conference beyond 2036 - the current existing end of the league’s grant-of-rights.

That crazy win means Indiana is no longer the losingest program in FBS college football history.
With Indiana's close win today and Northwestern's loss last night, we've seen a passing of the torch: The FBS record for most all-time losses has been passed from the Hoosiers (715) to the Wildcats (716).

That @MSHSAAOrg continues to make home high school football game environments become "neutral" in the playoffs is literally one of the dumbest rules that exists. You play all regular season to get a higher seed so you can host and for what? So your home environment can no longer be a home field advantage. Just. Dumb.

Imagine being 25 (this week), getting run out of two SEC programs, getting a third chance, being benched for a redshirt freshman, seeing the offense take off... then flexing NIL money like youre a rapper in a music video Low key one of the most embarrassing videos Ive ever seen
Zach Calzada flexing his money, even though he got benched for Cutter Boley 😂😂😂

I've been seeing more and more posts like this over the last few days. As I posted a few weeks ago, as long as P4 teams continue to move away from scheduling top G5 programs, an auto playoff bid is needed. If you're Memphis, Tulane, JMU, USF, UNT, Navy, etc., P4 teams aren't going to take the risk and play you because they know a loss is a real possibility (which hurts their own playoff chances). G5 teams can only get their SOS so high if P4 teams aren't even willing to schedule them.
The G5 getting an auto playoff bid is a stain on college football.

On the Friday before a home game this year, I got this text "Freeze just came out to the golf course without clubs to watch guys play golf." From a golf obsession to the inability to pick the right QB, how it all went wrong for Hugh Freeze at Auburn. cbssports.com/college-footba…

It is time to completely disregard the FPI in any capacity. Any metric that has Penn St in the top 25 needs to be ignored. It is November 2nd and the Nittany Lions have not beaten a P4 team yet and have not won a game since Sept 13th.
NEW: Updated ESPN FPI after week 10 of the College Football season📈📉 on3.com/news/espn-releases-u…
Insane to me the number of stories I've read and heard about through the grapevine (including in our state) of parents trying to run off SUCCESSFUL Head Coaches because of playing time, discipline, playing the "wrong" kids, etc. Careful what you wish for...
PA HS 🏈coach, 28-6 and in midst of a 6-1 season, benched some players for a half for disrespectful conduct. Parents erupt, vandalizing their property and threatening violence. District does nothing, coach resigns. Parents are a bane to public education. Many coaches will agree.

NEW: Nick Saban on College Sports to @clowfb⬇️ “We’re letting G League players come play in college? Pretty soon, we’re going to have the New York Giants’ backup quarterback not getting enough development, so we’re going to send him to Penn State or somewhere else for a year to play. It’s crazy, absolutely crazy. Why not make these kids professionals, treat them like professionals and collective bargain the whole thing?” Story: on3.com/news/is-lsu-the-best…
NEW: Nick Saban suggests to @clowfb that Lane Kiffin may already have a better job at Ole Miss than he would at LSU or Florida🤔 “Jobs that weren’t great jobs before are now. Lane is the first name up for Florida and the first name up for LSU, but I think you can have a long debate on whether either one of those jobs is actually better than the job he has now because he has some guys over there at Ole Miss that give him pretty much whatever he wants from a roster standpoint... Maybe you’ve got alumni who are passionate about football, but are they willing to invest what you have to invest now to win? Because a lot of people don’t believe in this shit.” Story: on3.com/news/is-lsu-the-best…
