From day one, Pi Squared was about performance, but when we zoomed out, the bigger opportunity was clear: It’s not about raw throughput, it’s about making payments feel like they’re not onchain at all.

Thus far in the world of "blockchain tech", every transaction has to wait its turn: lined up, one after another so that the system can decide what came “first" to avoid double-spending.
