In the Surgery Department at Shifa Hospital, there are 30 nurses who have stood strong…
Since the first days of the war, they have not received any salaries. Among them, 10 work as volunteers, giving their all without expecting a single shekel.
Despite this, they never abandon their patients or their posts, staying at the department whenever they are needed, even while their own families face hunger and hardship.
They continue to serve their people, tending wounds with one hand and comforting hearts with the other—while no one is there to comfort them.
Today… we want to say to them: We have not forgotten you.
We aim to raise a small amount – 100 ILS for each nurse as a token of gratitude and a little warmth in these harsh days.
The goal is 3,000 ILS (around $1,000 USD), and with transfer fees, the total needed is about 4,000 ILS.

This morning, Israeli occupation forces forcibly expelled Palestinian woman Umm Zuhri Shweiki, an elderly woman, from her home in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan, occupied Jerusalem.
The forces surrounded the house, blocked access roads, seized the rooftop, and emptied the property of all contents before handing it over to extremist settlers, citing ownership claims dating back to 1881.
The eviction is part of a broader campaign led by the extremist settler group Ateret Cohanim, which claims 5 dunums and 200 square meters in Batn al-Hawa, threatening 87 Palestinian families with displacement. Footage shows a complete military siege as residents were prevented from approaching while settlers prepared to take over the home.
