Cardano DeFi would get 10x more adoption if @IOHK_Charles actively used it himself 💯 If he wants to grow the eco he should record himself interacting with different protocols on Cardano, explaining how they work, and its benefits Cant get people to do something you dont

If I’m @IOHK_Charles You have a lot of unclaimed midnight going to the foundation which gives an opportunity 👇 1: Announce X supply will go to the cardano DeFi ecosystem in a clever named campaign 2: Create a guild account (like base did) where people can do DeFiand social tasks to get roles and points towards the allocation 3. Partner with top DeFi protocols on cardano to get them to push and market the iniative (maybe with some boosts in points). You do this to help lead new users to good platforms 4: Tasks include providing stable coin liquidity, transaction volume, lending, etc 5: users also connect their wallets on guild so you can see wallet holdings - part of the distribution is based not just on activity but holding top NFT and CNT tokens This way you reward the ecosystem holders, incentivize activity, get people to do more social tasks to market cardano on guild, reignite interest, fix the damage of pissing the active users off - all while making the distribution of night not look so horrible for outsiders (foundation is what 80%?)
Charles said "Cardano users aren't using Cardano DeFi". Is it wildly ironic that DeFi users were left out of the Midnight glacier drop? I partly understand the decision, but I also think including ecosystem users would have been a fantastic way to ignite DeFi. Thoughts?

2025 is almost gone . No Bitcoin Defi. No Leios. No Chainlink. No RLUSD No major stables. Cardano is still an Island.
Now that we have governance moving along really well, this year I'm going to focus deeply on three big themes for Cardano: 1) Bitcoin DeFi on Cardano (Market is 4 times the size of Ethereum and Solana combined) 2) 24/7 work on scalability, including Leios 3) Making Cardano a peninsula, not an island. Integrations, integrations, integrations. Already got a meeting with Chainlink on the books. Stablecoins next. Let's fucking go 2025

Saying this while giving everyone BUT Defi users midnight is WICKED work 🤥
It’s this a joke? Charles, you know exactly what needs to be done. We’ve been screaming about it over and over for two years.

🇬🇧 IS CIVIL WAR IN BRITAIN UNAVOIDABLE? Elon says it's inevitable. And for once, the man who shot a car into space and saved free speech by buying Twitter might not be wrong. Britain isn’t headed toward civil war because people are racist, or bigoted, or paranoid. It’s because they’ve been lied to - again, and again, and again - and now they’re done pretending everything’s fine. Here’s the setup: Illegal immigration is through the roof. Thousands arrive via small boats, with no documents, no vetting, no plans. They’re housed in hotels at taxpayer expense - nice ones, too - while Brits sleep in cars, sofa-surf, or languish on council waitlists that stretch into eternity. And if you dare question any of it, the entire establishment pounces: how dare you? But the truth’s leaking out like a dinghy with a hole. People are being assaulted. Not by all migrants - of course not - but when you bring in tens of thousands without knowing who they are, some will be predators. And that risk, however small per capita, explodes in the aggregate. But pointing that out? Instant cancellation. Or worse - now they’re talking criminal charges under the Online Safety Act for “hate speech.” Translation: disagree with the narrative and we’ll shut you up. People are being told it’s their moral duty to foot the bill, shut their mouths, and smile while the country unravels. And to make that compliance seamless, here comes the next brilliant idea: digital ID. Yes, nothing says freedom like having your identity, online speech, and financial access tethered to a government app. You know, for “security.” Just like every authoritarian regime in history said before things got really fun. Brits aren’t stupid. They see the social contract being rewritten in real time. “We import chaos, you pay for it. We erase your speech, you clap. We lose control, you take the blame.” It’s 1984, except this time Winston Smith doesn’t even get the dignity of a telescreen - just a suspended social media account and a digital ID linked to his energy bill. And the government? They wag their fingers at “right-wing extremists” while spending billions to warehouse strangers from who-knows-where with no plan to send them back. Deportations are a joke. The backlog of asylum claims is a national embarrassment. But don’t worry, someone’s just launched another taskforce. Maybe they’ll have matching lanyards. People have had enough. Not of immigrants, per se - but of being gaslit by a political class that thinks they’re too stupid or too scared to notice the obvious. And when you push a population to the edge - tell them to shut up, fork over, and enjoy the ride - eventually, they push back. Hard. Is civil war inevitable? Hopefully not. But civic trust is cratering, speech is being criminalized, identity is being digitized, and reality is being denied. At some point, the British public stops asking politely and starts asking furiously. And when that day comes, no amount of “fact-checking” or PR spin will stop the blowback. The elites lit the fuse. The people are just waiting to see how long it burns.
When Tolkien wrote about the hobbits, he was referring to the gentlefolk of the English shires, who don’t realize the horrors that take place far away. They were able to live their lives in peace and tranquility, but only because they were protected by the hard men of Gondor. What happened to the nice man who was brutally murdered while walking his dog will happen to all of England if the tide of illegal immigration is not turned. It is time for the English to ally with the hard men, like Tommy Robinson, and fight for their survival or they shall surely all die.
If we narrow down the paths to participate in Cardano only to experts we will find ourselves irrelevant in real life. Experts and ordinary people are equally important. The latter have the real life problems that need solving. Imaginary problems are nice. Real life is nicer.

I'm sorry, but a Cardano project meeting the previous chancellor of Germany to talk about AI Agents for 2h and... 77 likes?! This is the highest political connection any Cardano project HAS EVER had globally.
I had his week the opportunity to meet with Olaf Scholz, former Chancellor of Germany, for a deep dive on AI at his Berlin office. For me personally, it was quite a moment. Sitting at the same table with a former Chancellor, not just being heard, but engaging in a truly thoughtful exchange of ideas. For nearly two hours, we discussed what’s unfolding in the world of AI: from data centers and GPUs to copyright, data protection, and how work itself is changing. When I introduced the concept of Agentic AI - and explained the work we’re doing with @MasumiNetwork , our open, global Agentic AI infrastructure - the discussion quickly became lively. The idea that AI agents can collaborate, delegate, and orchestrate tasks across organizations and borders sparked genuine curiosity and a deep dive into what this means for business, politics, and society. One of the key threads was digital sovereignty: how we can ensure that Europe stays independent and keeps a meaningful share of value creation in the age of Agentic AI. That’s exactly where Masumi comes in: as a European response to large-scale U.S. initiatives, built on open-source technology and European values such as transparency, data-protection, accountability, and trust. We even did a small deep-dive into blockchain - #Cardano in particular - and on how stablecoins and Layer 2 approaches are shaping this era of an Agentic Economy. Conversations like this remind me how important it is to keep engaging across disciplines and perspectives. We all sense the magnitude of what’s happening and we're all somewhat struggeling to keep up with the pace the world is changing around us. While we have many questions and not all the answers yet, it’s clear that everyone is thinking deeply about how to shape this next chapter together.

Warren Buffetts’s solution to end the US government shut down: "I could end the deficit in five minutes. You just pass a law that says that any time there’s a deficit of more than three percent of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election." Do you agree with him?

Sequencing Matters 1. Palantir-Style Surveillance – Establish mass data capture and predictive policing tools. 2. Digital ID – Tie every individual to a centralized, trackable identity. 3. CBDCs & Stablecoins – Roll out programmable money under the guise of financial rescue. 4. Social Credit Scoring – Merge identity, money, and behavior into a system of total compliance. Each stage is unlocked by a fresh crisis—carefully manufactured, then weaponized.     Phases 1 & 2: Justified by immigration waves and orchestrated civil unrest.     Phase 3: Requires a global financial crisis and the promise of a CBDC “bailout.”     Phase 4: With surveillance, IDs, and programmable money in place—nothing more is needed.
NOW — The Bank of England has upheld its refusal to release documents on the links between Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and digital ID systems. An internal review, signed off by the Bank’s Deputy Secretary, Michael Salib, concluded that disclosure would have a “chilling effect” on deliberations and risk “destabilising speculation.” Key points from the Bank’s decision: - Documents include internal strategy papers and risk assessments on CBDC–digital ID integration. - The Bank claims releasing even redacted versions would inhibit free and frank discussion and “prejudice the effective conduct of public affairs.” - Section 36 FOIA exemptions (deliberation and effective conduct of public affairs) were applied, alongside Section 41 (confidential third-party input). - The Bank insists the public interest is already served by selected research it has chosen to publish, such as its report with MIT on “Enhancing the Privacy of a Digital Pound.” This means that, for the second time in two years, the Bank has refused to release documents that could reveal how digital currency and identity systems may be linked in UK policy planning.
