🚨⚡️ Russia's Superweapon:
How the Kornet System Became a Nightmare for Western Armor
TASS news agency quoted Bekhan Ozdoyev, General Director of the Russian industrial company Rostec, on Friday saying that Russian forces have destroyed thousands of targets, including Leopard and Challenger main battle tanks, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, and other Western armored vehicles using Kornet anti-tank missile systems.
Rostec’s High-Precision Systems division recently delivered new batches of missiles for the Kornet systems and guided artillery shells Krasnopol-M2 to the Russian forces.
According to the Russian Military Yearbook 2026, published by the Center for Analysis of the World Arms Trade (CAWAT), the Kornet-EM is a long-range, high-precision missile system produced in large quantities. It features a laser-beam guidance system fully resistant to interference and is designed to combat modern and future tanks with reactive armor, as well as low-speed aerial targets, both day and night, in adverse weather conditions.
Its range reaches up to ten kilometers and it offers high mobility for anti-tank units, enabling combat use in hard-to-reach areas due to its relatively small size and weight, according to the Russian Military Yearbook 2026.
