ok so this laser is just silly; 🔥 here’s a quick test ramping from 0% power up to 50% power…. with the beam purposefully out of focus to prevent burning thru the wall. at 100% power it gets pretty intimidating ngl. 🤖

first outdoor test complete! suspension holds up as intended but as most people pointed out, the wheels will need to change. also included the photo taken from the onboard camera. great way to start off the week.

i don’t understand this platform i guess. i post a simple pic of some items on a desk and it gets thousands of views. i post a video with robots and lasers; it only gets 100 views in an hour? what other platforms do you recommend?

seems the green laser video wasn’t cool; perhaps the algorithm wants to see a larger more power laser? kinda doubtful but worth a shot 🤖

hexapod robot weight ~2.7kg as it sits currently; still lots of headroom left for more sensors and compute 🤖

have been test driving 'atlas' from @OpenAI since it dropped; i've had a pretty decent experience so far; here it is helping me catch up on some amazon reviews. and i never leave amazon reviews. 👀

Robot is moving much better and smarter now by scanning its environment. I feel like I'm getting closer to releasing the first public TestFlight. Built entirely with RealityKit and ARKit ⚙️

fyi gpt-5-codex in the cli will not auto-compact; it will keep dredging along until this message hits. interestingly enough; I noticed no performance degradation as it hit 0% but if it could just ya know....auto summarize that'd be great. 👀

while chatgpt ‘pulse’ isn’t the most exciting release from @OpenAI ; it has become my default morning scroll while waking up. looking forward to seeing this tied into the new ‘atlas’ browser 🤖

honestly pretty dope working on cad design and dropping some like-bombs on X while scrolling in chatgpt-atlas; while codex-cli sets up & tests the new depth cam on the actual robot 🔥 need to grab a rtx pro 5000 to show you how codex can train this robot’s walking policy 🤖

a quick how-to on custom themes for your robot’s GUI: step 1: tell codex what aesthetic you’re after; give any references or ideas. any guesses as to mine?? lol step 2: refine to your liking, or simply ask for something else entirely; be specific if you can. done. 🤖
