Avoid majorities on both sides. Many of the people praising her today were calling her a whore earlier this year for breaking if off with her fiancee.
Sydney Sweeney isn’t backing down. She’s standing by her ‘Great Jeans’ ad and refusing to apologize. Zero White guilt. Refreshing.

Another film I'm looking forward to seeing before the year is out. Good to know some people are still making real movies.
First trailer for Nicholas Hytner’s ‘THE CHORAL’ starring Ralph Fiennes. In cinemas November 7.
When you go to certain types of films, you get better quality trailers, like this.
First trailer for Hikari’s ‘RENTAL FAMILY’, starring Brendan Fraser. The film follows a struggling actor who is hired as a token American guy for a Japanese rental family company in Tokyo. In theaters on November 21.
Fever dream. Going for the wet end of steamy. Reminds me of Alfonso Cuarón's Great Expectations.
First trailer for Emerald Fennell’s ‘WUTHERING HEIGHTS’ starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. In theaters on February 14, 2026.

Jared Leto is not box office poison. Herd Mentality and bandwagon hate is box office poison.
I knew from the first trailer that I was gonna be all about this movie.
House featuring John Cale. The first offering from my album for “Wuthering Heights” Yours, Monday.

The more that algorithms tailor content to people's preferences, the greater the disconnect they will feel when reality does not follow suit--resulting in several possible emotional responses, none of them positive

Indeed. Odious man.
Cheney was a dreadful example of the selfishness of 60s elite after heroics of WWII generation. He apparently deferred his draft for Vietnam five times so he could pursue political studies. No sense of the duty owed to his country and his fellow - less privileged - countrymen.

When your YouTube channel, now in its fifth year with just over 600 subs gets clipped for copyright becase you used a live version of a cover song recorded in 1996 for a new intro, it cements the reality that things are just too fucking regulated.
I was just saying this last night in the stream. People are still making brilliant cinema, still making art.
What can one person do but two people can't? Official trailer for Bi Gan's RESURRECTION. In select theaters December 12th. #resurrection

I’ve said it for years…
In zoomer terms: You have to stand on business. Otherwise the opps will feel emboldened, gain aura and slime more of your homeboys out. That’s why you have to stand on business.

God made your personality as a means to reveal a part of Himself to the world. You are an intentional creation of God, made as an answer to the prayers of many. Focus on being grateful for who God made you to be and letting Him refine and purify you to shine brighter. #talkedtothebosa

Just came back from Linklater's Blue Moon. I've seen 33 movies this year in the theatre so far and this is easily the best of them. I've been a Linklater/Hawke fan for 30 years but I think this is their best collaboration so far. "Her cigarette heart." My God. 5/5
Ethan Hawke on waiting 12 years to make Richard Linklater’s "Blue Moon": "He gave me that script 12 years ago. We did a reading at my house, and I said, 'I love this, let’s do it.' He said, 'Not yet.' He’d send us a new draft every so often, and we’d do another reading. We did that maybe three or four times over the next seven or eight years. Finally, Rick felt we were ready. "I think he was waiting for me to get older. Most directors won’t wait for an actor for two weeks — they’ll just find someone else. But Rick waited over a decade. That says everything about who he is." variety.com/2025/film/awards…
