This is the very first ending in a saga that ended "and to each our way" instead of next time... a new beginning! XY/Z was truly something magical and I will never forget those 3 amazing years (and the fact Ash FINALLY got kissed on the mouth by a main female protagonist

Alola ending was and forever will be THE BEST

every time i watch this scene again, i cry a little bit each time

I love the ending so much, but it easily gets ruined by the episodes between the Team Flare arc and the finale. Ash releasing Greninja, Clembot being rebuilt, Serena doing contests instead of showcases, all of that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

When the journey ends its such a bittersweet feeling which I'm sure all of us experienced. I miss Ash. I miss Pikachu.

I haven’t gotten there yet. I’m still in early Hoenn. Next episode is Season 6, Episode 33. So far I think the Johto seasons were my favorite.
