Elle Fanning is basically playing a mixture of C-3PO and Donkey in Predator: Badlands and it's the most heartwarming thing ever

DIE MY LOVE A masterfully raw destruction of the nuclear family facade with a mental health crisis guiding its ferociousness. Jennifer Lawrence gives the performance of a lifetime through suffocation of an unfair society. A visually pulsating & violent tapestry that never lets up

PREDATOR: BADLANDS Trachtenberg's love for the Predator lore continues to excite! A wild jungle trek with some charming themes of found family & eco-friendly living. Elle Fanning is a delight & Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi is a badass. Some lighting issues but a blast in IMAX
Dan Trachtenberg took Predator: Badlands and basically made a live action Banjoo-Kazooie film and it freaking rules!
Father supporting son
Another great night out with my friends at the movies! You guys crushed it, congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat, and ate way too much popcorn.
HEDDA Takes some time to get this more accessible adaptation going but once unreleased it's a diabolical party of lust & undying love through sabotage. Tessa Thompson is haunting. Nina Hoss is phenomenal & always unpredictable. Devious sound mixing & striking production design

SENTIMENTAL VALUE A gentle embrace that still shows the distance & pain of generational trauma. Joachim Trier painstakingly understands the most humanistic approach to exposing our regrets through performance in any era. An eclectic cast all searching deep into each others beauty

spending the first day of Zohran Mamdani's NYC at amc Lincoln square for the new Joachim Trier film. Back in ways I never knew were possible!

My Cousin Vinny is on tv (when isn't it) but Marisa Tomei really did define perfect line delivery with every bit of dialogue
The MR. SCORSESE doc is an enjoyable & admirable attempt at understanding the greatest filmmaker but the omission of Hugo really puts a damper on it especially when trying to understand his different relationships with his daughters as he aged

SOMEWHERE always needs more love!! One of Sofia Coppola's best

BUGONIA Yorgos hits again! A bleak debate on humanity's continuation packed to the brim with Lanthimos' wicked humor & aggressive antics. Jesse Plemons is a disturbing force of desperation. Emma Stone balances a maniacal yet empathetic approach to earth's last breath before death
1
I said it before walking out of the last 3 Yorgos Lanthimos' films but I'll say it again, Emma Stone really is the greatest living actor
BALLAD OF A SMALL PLAYER Edward Berger over directs unable to get a hold of an engaging tale of addiction & lost souls. Its mix match style leaves its screenplay weightless. Farrell is solid while James Friend's cinematography & Volker Bertelmann's score keeps the madness intact

Elijah Wood crashed a couple's wedding that was taking place at The Shire.
GOOD FORTUNE I miss big studio comedies in theaters but this dull script only allows for three painfully unfunny lead performances. An admirable anti-capitalist/gig economy theme never grows beyond surface level & Ansari's directing is too disconnected to leave a lasting stance
streets are saying Kate Hudson gives a career best in that Neil diamond movie...the disrespect to Penny Lane
