The desired annual savings of $19.6 million - while a substantial amount of money in real life terms - is not hugely substantial for a AAA company. If things are this bad where are the executive "layoffs?" I'm pretty sure these games aren't failing because of QA, publishing, etc.

NEW: Rockstar has issued out a statement on the dismissal of 40 employees, stating to Bloomberg that the decision was made because those developers had leaked confidential information on (Discord) “Last week, we took action against a small number of individuals who were found to be distributing and discussing confidential information in a public forum, a violation of our company policies. This was in no way related to people’s right to join a union or engage in union activities.”
