I did some medium size leverage trading over the the weekend. It was the first leverage trading of my life, primarily because I know how addictive this type of trading is. Went 10x each time. I 5x’d my money and tried to quit. Went back in and lost all my gains. And one last shot I went back up 4x and cashed out. During that time I checked my trade more than I check my Twitter. Highly stressful. Even more stressful than holding much more money in spot. I can see how people get sucked into the quick gains, lose it all and then want to make it back in one trade. Was an interesting psychological experiment, but most likely never taking a leverage trade again in my life. I value my peace to mind and time too much. You guys who regularly trade leverage are absolute animals.
