This year I’ve witnessed more and more streamers falling down the hole of numbers on Twitch. First time really putting my opinion out here, but:
It’s so easy to want more. To compare yourself to others, to see people succeeding and to ask yourself “what am I doing wrong”
You’re not doing anything wrong, Twitch is not and has never been about consistency. You can do something for one month, making $100, and then go do the same the next month and make $1000.
If you want to compare, I recommend comparing yourself to your OLD self.
I was averaging 15 viewers when I switched to variety content and it was HARD. I stayed through it and average over 50 now. Do I want 100? Sure. But I used to be at 15 CCV talking to the same 5 people.
You are doing better than you think, even if you aren’t where you want to be. It’s amazing to have goals, dreams, and aspirations, but don’t let those shade your current success! 🫶🏻
