Who is Dr Aafia Siddiqui, and how can we help her?
🔴 Dr Aafia Siddiqui, a PhD holder in Cognitive Neuroscience, has been in U.S. custody for nearly two decades, serving an 86-year prison sentence for an incident founded on false allegations.
🔴 Her case stands as a tragic legacy of the "War on Terror," a time fraught with injustices that still strain U.S. relations with the global Muslim community.
During her capture, her youngest child, Suleman, only six months old, was reportedly dropped on his head, resulting in his death.
🔴 Her daughter Maryam (3) was forcibly adopted, while her son Ahmad (6) was imprisoned.
Dr Aafia endured torture at the Bagram Air Force Base for 5 years.
🔴 Followed by solitary confinement for 14 years, where she was reportedly sexually abused and raped.
She has been deprived of adequate medical and psychological care.
🔴 She is serving an 86-year prison sentence.
Sign this petition to urge President Biden to grant clemency to Dr Aafia Siddiqui and allow her to reunite with her family.
