Don't know the whole details but it would help if when you went out you dressed like the people who lived there and made sure you looked like a person who belonged. Try cutting your hair. Don't wear a giant hoodie in the summer. No perfect solution but this has always helped me. Dress like you belong. Look sharp. Be well groomed. Show that you put care into your appearance. All these things matter. Again not perfect but they help
