2/2 Today, we began in-home dialysis. Our house looks different, but I’m glad we can do this here. We will be in dialysis 4-5 hours per day, 5 days per week. We’re still praying for a kidney donor, but until then, the Lord has provided a way for me to stay alive. 🙏
🧵 Yesterday, my wife and I graduated from six weeks of training for in-home dialysis. Then we spent tomorrow afternoon and evening moving equipment and supplies to our house. My wife has done a spectacular job of learning and being very diligent with my care. I’m so grateful. ->

WHAT WE KNOW about the Kentucky plane crash:
— Aircraft is a 34-year-old MD-11 owned and operated by UPS since 2006 with tail number N259UP.
— Preliminary signs point to mechanical/maintenance issue. Aircraft was on fire (left wing); unclear if issue with left engine. Fuel appeared to have ignited.
— Plane took off 2+ hours late, despite having been at airport since 9 AM.
— Plane was bound for Honolulu
— Plane became briefly airborne, suggesting issue detected too late for rejected takeoff
— Smoke plume reached at least 3,000 feet before flattening beneath an “inversion,” or increase in air temperature with bright

UPS Flight 2976 crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 4, after departing from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was headed to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation and will provide all updates.
This information is preliminary and subject to change.
