Border Patrol agents went to Little Village and Cicero for the second time this week in what residents described as a “show of force” and a possible act of retaliation following a recent court order restricting the agency’s use of force against protesters. The agents were once again met with angry residents demanding that they leave and were denied service at a Mexican restaurant near the iconic arch. According to DHS, shots were fired at agents during one of the confrontations, but did not provide further details of which agency is investigating. CPD was also at the scene.
