For a pro-life party, they’re kind of pro-death.
Absolutely bonkers — Joni Ernst doubles down on her “we are all gonna die” defense of Medicaid cuts while walking through a cemetery

10 years ago you would have all been for eliminating Medicaid entirely. Only thing that changed is who is paying you Bill

“We’re all going to die anyway,” is a heck of a political platform to get behind. ☠️

We noticed many years ago. Hillary and Obama will laugh or something. Hillary's 1st lady platform was quality healthcare for all. Fox News attacked her for decades over that. Obama managed to usher in the ACA when some Republicans were still decent American patriots. Neither Bush cared about American's Healthcare.

Pretty big difference between someone dying, well, because it was their time… and someone dying because they could not afford proper healthcare, etc. Is that concept really beyond her grasp?

It's been often said that they believe life begins at conception and ends at birth, and vote for program funding accordingly. Interesting, Jewish law, since before the time of Jesus, is that life doesn't begin until the first breath is taken in. That's an absolute that isn't well appreciated.

During COVID Texas Gov. Dan Patrick said the elderly should sacrifice their lives for the good of the people. Time for everyone to get back to work. Guess the loss of hundreds of thousands of people isn't enough for Republicans. They want more dead bodies.

“Why should we spend money on people who need it in the here & now if they’re just gonna die?” is perhaps the dumbest, lowest point they’ve reached so far. Joni, just quit now-you know you’re just going to die someday.

Kind of? Look…She’s not sorry she said it—she’s sorry she might lose power before she can finish killing us off through Medicaid and SNAP cuts. Both parties agree, they just prefer doing it quietly. And Americans? Still choosing polite annihilation over revolution every time.

The Gospels record 23 instances of Jesus healing the sick. He raised Lazarus from the dead. Most of our community hospitals in the US are faith based and speak of continuing the healing ministry of Christ. She is soulless.

They’re not even remotely “pro-life”. They’re also not Christians.

Democrats are pro-choice now. They should just be consistent with their philosophy and choose to live a long time.

Read your Bible Bill. There is nothing more grounding that to know that we are but dust and to dust we shall return. Our forefathers would not have been offended by this hyper realist statement.

Some people are so attached to their beliefs they'll walk through a graveyard to defend them, ignoring the obvious, like a cat ignoring a laser pointer. Isn't it strange how fiercely we defend what we don't truly understand?

Cruelty, the abject lack of empathy embodied by chump the brain dead comic carnival barker aka klueless the klown, is the point. Here the latest portrait of him with Ernst.
