Ah jeez. Yes. Kid in the 80's, teen in the 90's. I was listening to some Pavement, Season to Risk (KC indie band), Tribe, Check Your Head....just a bunch of stuff today. We were supposed to take control. To flush the system. DIY things. Build tomorrow w no need for over politicalization or sensationalized equality. You just were who you were, and the rest of the world wasn't your culture so you created it. 90's underground and subculture were incredible. I wish those values would come back full circle, because its been trampled on and commercialized to death, and that is exactly what we didn't want.
