IMMERSION BREAK/KINDA DOXXING MYSELF!
I have a podcast I've been doing with friends for 3 years now. We discuss movies/shows/games/books through a Catholic lens. Some of it isn't cringe even!

Made it through 2 (and MOST of a 3rd) dungeons, but we now have enough items to tackle a few more next stream!
A pretty smooth game to rando actually. But that's probably because the regular game can be done in any order anyway, lol.

This time, I'm trying my hand at a Link Between Worlds Randomizer! First time doing a rando of this game! I'm looking forward to it!

I've gotta say, Luigi's Mansion 3 is Charles Martinet's single greatest performance as BOTH Mario and Luigi. The magnum opus of his tenure at Nintendo.
While I think Kevin Afghani has done a solid job thus far, Luigi's Mansion 4 will be his TRUE test as the modern Mario Bros.
If I someday could go to a convention as "streamer me", I'd love to go wearing a helmet. But that requires 2 things:
1) Having a Broseph helmet to wear.
2) Being able to afford tickets and airfare, because none of the ones I'd want to go to happen in the middle-of-nowhere midwest
I wonder if there is an audience for "Listening to your bro who is 3 drinks in go on an unhinged rant about how irredeemably bad Metroid: Other M is over half priced apps at Applebees [ASMR]"

So far, the game is good. Its view and understanding of Catholic teachings on repentance and suffering are distorted. But in ways inspired by historical distortions so I can't fault the game too much.

Made it up to and past the infamous Phazon Mines gauntlet, so we're easily 75% through the game.
Next week I'll finish 1 and get started on 2. Making good time!

Good stuff. Got some good Layton backstory, and the origin of his hat. But I am curious if there really is time travel, and if not, how they will explain it away like they did in the last 2 games.

OK, THIS is a good trailer.
Start slow, focus on environment, doors, platforms, then get *some* enemies/combat, but it's BROKEN UP BY SCANNING!
Still got a LONG way to go before I'm convinced the bike is even a neutral addition that doesn't just subtract from the world design tho
