SERIOUS QUESTION: Has the Heisman ever been awarded to a player with almost zero mobility?

Everything about this sequence showed me this is an average QB surrounded by phenomenal ball catchers and playmakers. If I am an NFL scout I would be looking at who he’s throwing to rather than who is throwing the ball.

I was rooting for my sweet baby boy Diego to win it, but that drive showed me Mendoza just won the Heisman with that drive there. It doesn't matter what anyone else does the rest of the year

It was an impressive drive but they won because a Linenacker slipped and didn’t catch a popped up interception, he’s still behind Sayin & Simpson

A good story but they would have to beat OSU in Indy. That may be close for a half. Maybe.

Mendoza will be the 1 pick in the NFL draft.

That is the worst announcer in sports history!

Easily the front runner

He's lost a lot of momentum here these last couple weeks. That was a spectacular moment, though but as an Indiana fan, I gotta say saying right now is in the front.

Against 3-5 PSU? Hahaha
Replying to @BussinWTB
Trailing by 4 to a 5 loss, unranked team with a minute left, then barely winning is now a “Heisman moment”?

Well, that may have been the greatest game-winning drive of this entire college football season. Incredible, in crunch time!

No, Sayin is way better and Smith is even better than that.

Barely beating a team that has lost 6 straight..no.

Nice offense holding on last drive Fernando ain't great without holding

This game was all that

"Nothing says Heisman like 19-for-30 for 218 yards (87 on the last drive) with 1 TD and 1 INT against a 3-5 team."

I think Penn St was just being Penn St

Struggling against IU? Nah.

The boys on the call! Fuck what a movie!

Mendoza and Ty Simpson.

No, he needed last second heroics to beat a team that had lost 5 games in a row and sucked so bad they fired their Head Coach mid-season.

PSU was 3-5 and 0-5 in conference, If Indiana is so good, how was PSU even leading with 1:30 left in the 4th?

Coming back against unranked penn st… dont think so.

How about the hands of those receivers. I played in Europe and it doesnt matter how well you can throw if there's no one to catch the ball.

It’s not like IU has an O Line like Bama, Texas, or OSU either!!!
