I'm actually shocked more so on why she even wrote it to begin with. She went on a little vacation with friends and they had a contest on who could write the scariest story and the rest is history. I thought that was really neat.

Guillermo del Toro still reigns as my favorite director. His movies are full of heartbreak but they’re so beautiful and intricate. Nobody tells a story like he does. I just want to be inside of his brain for 5 minutes.
