I get so incredibly bored in Parliament of MPs having a go at each other just because they are in a different party. If an idea's good, back it - regardless of who is proposing it. Surely that's just common sense...
I'll work with anyone. I couldn't care less. Corbyn has a good idea? Fantastic. I'm right behind it. Same for anybody. Lib Dem? Labour? Green? Reform? Tory? Who cares. A good policy is a good policy.
I thoroughly enjoy cross-party campaigning, it's the only way to actually get anything done in this Parliament.
We're all just so bored of seeing politicians tear lumps out of each other over nothing. Boring, repetitive, unproductive.
Take Digital ID. We've put together this cross-party letter - going well, lots of signatures from across the spectrum. Country before party, every time.
This is what all of our constituents rightly expect.
