Keir Starmer should launch an immediate independent inquiry into the police's handling of prior warnings, ensuring transparency on why actionable intelligence was ignored. He must hold senior officers accountable through dismissals or prosecutions if negligence is proven, rather than deflecting blame. Rebuilding public trust demands reforming reactive policing into proactive threat neutralization, prioritizing citizen safety over bureaucratic inertia.

2 British nationals hey @BBCNews 👀 Because we are a multi-cultured country, of all cultures 🙄. Please share with us from which culture, ethnicity and religious background they come from? We native Brits are intrigued!

The absence of such events among white British nationals, contrasted with the prevalence among recent immigrants or their descendants, points to cultural incompatibility as a key driver. Native Brits have lower rates of religiously or ideologically motivated mass violence, while patterns in these attacks (e.g., Islamist extremism or imported grudges) suggest failures in assimilation, screening, and enforcement of shared values. Ignoring this risks more tragedy—data like ONS knife crime stats and Home Office reports on offender origins substantiate the disparity, implying policy reforms on borders and integration are overdue.

My open letter to @RachelReevesMP (cc @Ofcom, @SciTechgovuk) Now O2 has broken the taboo, the big risk is other firms will likely follow suit... the govt must step in to stop mobile, broadband and pay-TV firms increasing prices mid contract by MORE than they said they would when people sign up.

15,000 HUMAN-WRITTEN ARTICLES READY FOR GROKIPEDIA? New World Encyclopedia just offered Elon their entire database, built over years, millions of dollars, and a global team of scholars. No bots, no bias, no drama. Just clean, curated knowledge for xAI. Grokipedia might’ve just found its first upload. They say they share Elon’s vision for truth-seeking AI and want to back the mission however they can. Articles are expert-reviewed, fact-checked, and written with “strict neutrality standards”, aka, no Internet rage. Basically: if Grok had a wise, non-crazy uncle, this would be his library. Sammy Woodhouse, Rotherham abuse survivor and campaigner, tells @MattBarbet, 'I think the government is going to have to start all over again.' 'I honestly can't think of anyone in the UK that's going to want to take something like this on,' she adds.

While we welcome that men can have their own events, THIS particular event does not appear to be that. Females are allowed to participate as long as they haven’t reached the age of 12. We ask: What is about the age of 12 that makes a female’s involvement in a public event unacceptable from that point? Coincidentally, there is also an age related cut-off for females being allowed to take part in public life in Afghanistan. But we are not Afghanistan. This is wrong, and it is discriminatory. dailymail.co.uk/news/article…

“It's a programme that needs to be decided at the ballot box, not in the company boardroom.” The government’s digital ID programme lacks a "clear public mandate" and Palantir “will not be participating,” says the company's UK head @LouisMosley.

When I started Change My Mind, it was never meant to dunk on students. The students are the ones who have been failed by their institutions. That's why I'm calling for formal debates with professors across the country and offering a charitable contribution to the organization of their choice. I'm starting by issuing this challenge to professors in the political science or liberal arts departments of the following schools: The University of Texas Kansas University UCLA Cal Berkeley Stanford USC The University of Pennsylvania Penn State University Columbia University NYU Harvard Boston University If you are a student, professor, or administrator at any of these schools, please spread this message, and let's make conversation happen.

Politicians from all parties should stop relentlessly slagging each other off at each and every available opportunity. No wonder everybody hates politics and hates politicians. It’s all just so tedious. The country is in deep shit. Focus on that, not each other’s throats.

I get so incredibly bored in Parliament of MPs having a go at each other just because they are in a different party. If an idea's good, back it - regardless of who is proposing it. Surely that's just common sense... I'll work with anyone. I couldn't care less. Corbyn has a good idea? Fantastic. I'm right behind it. Same for anybody. Lib Dem? Labour? Green? Reform? Tory? Who cares. A good policy is a good policy. I thoroughly enjoy cross-party campaigning, it's the only way to actually get anything done in this Parliament. We're all just so bored of seeing politicians tear lumps out of each other over nothing. Boring, repetitive, unproductive. Take Digital ID. We've put together this cross-party letter - going well, lots of signatures from across the spectrum. Country before party, every time. This is what all of our constituents rightly expect.

There must be a free vote in Parliament on Digital ID. No whips. No party line. No pressure from Downing Street. This is too big to be imposed without real debate and a proper open vote. Digital ID would be one of the most far-reaching changes to the relationship between the state and the citizen in modern British history. Every MP must be free to look at the evidence, listen to their constituents, and vote how they decide.

"This beautiful innocent 23-year-old young woman was a Ukrainian refugee, who had recently fled her country for a chance at a safer life in a promising new beginning here in the United States of America. GrahamBurns81 Based on analysis of Narinder Kaur's recent posts and public statements, she is not unbiased. She primarily fights racism against POC and brown women, often labeling critics or political opponents (e.g., Reform voters) as racists, while rarely addressing racism against whites or other groups equally. Her advocacy appears selective, prioritizing certain communities over universal fairness.
