I think children should be allowed to experience cookies even if they are poor
When I go to the store and see them advertising big tubs of chocolate chip cookies as EBT eligible it makes me not care about it getting shut down.

It’s cheaper to bake your own cookies than to buy the shitty store made ones. I can make a batch of a dozen cookies for what amounts to like $2 worth of ingredients. And half of the ingredients could be used to make a loaf of bread, biscuits,

The ingredients don’t cost $2 to buy outright genius. Nobody can buy one cookie portion worth of flour.

Of course poor children can experience cookies, no one said they can't. But it's it my job to make sure that happens, it's the parents job 🤷🏻‍♀️

The problem isn’t that you specifically are poor and want a free cookie; Free as in my taxes pay for you, you would’ve sit around and eat that fucking cookie. It’s that 40 million Americans have your same mindset

I looked at these comments I didn't know it was so controversial to say "I think families should have easily accessible treats"

Poor children have “experienced cookies” for decades prior to EBT. And those cookies were made from actual ingredients, not chemicals subsidized by the government. Also, cookies were a special occurrence in most of our lives if you’re over 40. 🤷‍♀️

That's fine. But don't use SNAP/EBT for it. If YOU want, YOU can donate to charity that provides cookies and brownies and lobster to kids below the poverty line. Nothing is stopping you.

Forcing someone to give away their belongings is not charity, it’s thievery. If anyone wants to help the poor and feed the hungry, through donations or directly, they are free to do so.

Then buy Flour, Butter, Sugar, Baking Powder, and Eggs. The best part is you can make other stuff too! Retard.

Then buy them and give them to kids… I ain’t stopping you. Don’t force me to pay for them though, I will buy it of my own free will.

REAL patriots would rather spend $10 micromanaging poor people’s diets to maybe save $6 dollars by not buying cookies (thus losing more money on net). If those kids want cookies so bad they can get a job.

You’re not virtuous for wanting to allow corporations to profit off of feeding EBT recipients poisonous slop that make them sick. Understand that.

I think parents should save their coins to buy their kids cookies, & raise their children to feel a sense of gratitude for the systems in place that allow their bellies to be full of nutritious food when they go to sleep at night. But yeah, missing out on a cookie. The horror!!

If the parents don't have exactly zero income, they will experience cookies, don't worry.
