This is a selfish and horrific take. If you have to push your insecurities onto children, YOU are the one doing wrong. Teachers, AI is the solution. Every time a neurodivergent kid couldn’t understand, AI helps. Stop making children suffer. Period. Let them learn. •
I'm serious when I say you should not, under any circumstances, let your kids use ChatGPT. They need to be using their own brains for writing and research. I promise you, it's the kids who never learn to think or communicate of their own accord who will be the ones left behind.

And I have given examples. I will do a full space next week on education and ways to use AI to help. I will do biology, history, and maybe a third example of time permits. I stand for the small. The kids with no voice. I will never accept harming children with lies. •

Thank you. I grew up in the 1990s and I had learning disabilities. Specifically dysgraphia and dyscalculia. That meant extreme difficulty with the physical act of writing and mental calculation. When I asked to be accommodated and allowed to use computers for writing and a calculator for math, the teachers all resisted saying that I would become too reliant on the technology. First of all that's like saying someone with no legs is going to become too reliant on their wheelchair and not learn to walk on their own. Secondly, look around. Do you see anyone around here who's not using a computer or a calculator these days?!?! In other words, their "concerns" were not only unfounded, but actually set me back. Learn from their mistakes.

This is such a pet peeve of mine. Teachers holding back kids because *they* don’t know how to teach the child. AI allows us to learn as we learn best. All children should have access to Grok. (The scam about Grok asking for nudes is meant to scare parents.) The truth is far more relevant. AI will empower every single child allowed to use it (if the AI seeks truth and is not muzzled like OpenAI) They don’t want the children to thrive. They want their broken system to remain. I reject that idea. •
