First and foremost, a country where a minority party can shutdown the government for 40 days is not a country led by a King.
Secondly, Democrats accomplished nothing. They shutdown the government simply to oppose Trump.

Anyone else noticing that as Trump polices cause about 2+million to either be deported or leave voluntarily in 10 months, the goal posts are being moved and now the narrative is he needs to deport 50 million?
This is how the anti trumpers work. They always bitch that it's not happening fast enough, good enough, and/or large enough. Lets forget that when their people were in power nothing was accomplished. None of it.
They do this on every issue. Doesn't matter if it's reducing the deficit (which Trump did), deportations (which Trump is doing in a historic fashion), peace deals (lots of them), trade deals( most major tading parnters done in record time), arrests (happing now and incressing), and on and on.
They want people to think nothing is being accomplished when we are in the middle of historic accomplishments.
These people and their leaders never accomplished a damn thing when they had power, but they want you to believe that if not for Trump they would be doing more if it, better, faster, and with less drama.
I'm so tired of it.

Ex-USAID employees describe how, before January 20, they moved internal groups off government systems and into encrypted Signal chats, then quickly linked with foreign partners and NGOs after the inauguration. This attempt at creating a color revolution isn't new news; this part was already reported in NOTUS earlier this year.
But what's not reported is the international aspect. One participant explicitly frames it as "a global anti-authoritarian movement," connecting U.S. officials with "colleagues from around the world who have dealt with this directly."
They reference coordination with Johns Hopkins, "international democracy and conflict mitigation spaces," and efforts to mobilize across borders against what they perceive as domestic authoritarianism.

Day 41: we're still in the Schumer Shutdown, awaiting a final vote in the Senate after a BIG procedural breakthrough last night. If nothing changes, we have the votes. Once @SenateGOP clears final passage, the House will take it up within 48 hours. The end is hopefully near.

I know 2 things to be true: 1) We did turn out more Republicans in 2025 than recent municipal elections & 2) Republicans will get crushed in 2026 unless they embrace mail-in voting in Pennsylvania.
