I see Boomers are trying to make their counter-argument. Their right to do so. Who could blame them for trying. But I also see some deluding themselves into thinking they are winning it, and that needs a reality check.
You already lost it. In 10 years, there won't even be an argument and the younger generations will make sure history remembers you as the generation who inherited it all, and left nothing to be inherited, and who then went on to threaten to withhold that nothing if they didn't submit to your thinking.
Even the freedom part of that inheritance got squandered. America has Hologram Liberty. It's not real. Reach out and touch it. See what happens. How did that happen? A complete lack of stewardship, that's how.
You asked younger generations after repeatedly trashing them to show up for your last chance to Make America Great Again. Well, they did. And got screwed again.
Blaming corporations is just a silly argument. Who elected the politicians who played winners and losers with those corporations and gave the winners their invasion, which deluded the value of citizenship for themselves and future generations?
Who offshored their industrial base and with it, their future and hope for wage growth, all in exchange for cheap shit from China and other foreign manufacturers predominantly in Asia?
That includes drugs. Latin American Cartels cheered NAFTA, and so did Big Pharma companies in tight with those very politicians, and as a result they were effectively given a government contract to prey off a manufactured demand for drugs, which obviously ruined millions upon millions of families.
Who bitches and moans about these people needing food stamps and adding to the debt while simultaneously falling for every hoax and myth of empire to support unjust, illegal and costly wars.
Speaking of which, Afghanistan exported only 180 metric tons of opiate products before the invasion. That spiked after the invasion and hit a high of nearly 9k metric tons before Trump took office in 2017. Funny, he starts withdrawing troops and it falls. It was only 333 metric tons after the botched Biden withdrawal.
Weird. But no worries, fentanyl took its place now.
Younger generations were too liberal and indoctrinated? Well, who indoctrinated the schools and/or allowed that to happen?
Can go on and on. It's pretty damned insulting to listen to people in older generations act as if these younger generations have all the options and opportunities they did. They do not. Boomers made sure of it. It's even more insulting to see fools quote "Locke" in some ridiculous attempt to threaten them for not submitting to their way of thinking.
Withhold their inheritance. Ha! What inheritance?
