I have witnessed (and partaken) in this several times back in the day at my old dive. Dudes would ditch fresh lit cigarettes because someone put Sepultura on the jukebox. I miss that place.

When I was a teenager I played a show at a dive bar and nobody was there to see us, but as soon as we started playing Slayer, a bunch of guys who looked like that ran to the stage to headbang. Definitely one of my proudest moments
