A comfortable win for the Huskies on banner night. Fudd leads the way with 23 points and five assists, Strong adds 21 points and eight boards, while Ziebell had a good outing as well.
Ayanna Patterson and Caroline Ducharme scored back-to-back baskets, eliciting big cheers from the crowd
For the first time in 960 days, Ayanna Patterson takes the court in an official game for UConn. She missed the last two seasons with knee and shoulder injuries.
Kayleigh Heckel has now reached double figures in each of her first two games with UConn. She's the third Husky with 10+ points, joining Azzi Fudd (23) and Sarah Strong (21)

The Huskies led 29-23 with 6:19 left in the quarter then scored 22 of the next 26 points to take a 24-point lead into the locker room.

Florida State had fought back to within six but UConn answered with a 11-0 run.
