The support team got back to me. Guess what happened? Yes — it was my mistake 😃 I’ll fix it tomorrow. They didn’t give me a ready-made solution, they just said it was my error and that my setup was different from the lesson. Full: t.me/dev_nagornyi/25 #nexus

Until now, everything was not too hard — I fixed all the bugs quickly and by myself. But today, Mr. Nexus gave me a difficult task I needed to create a user in the running Nexus web interface and give that user permission to manage… Full: t.me/dev_nagornyi/23 #nexus

Today’s practical session went smoothly! I spun up another Droplet on DigitalOcean, configured the firewall and SSH 🔓 access again — this time everything felt much more familiar. I also built and ran a Node.js 👩‍💻 app successfully. Next stop: Module Six! Let’s go 🚀

Linux package managers — for example, APT — make your life easier. After working with APT, you start to appreciate how competently automation is designed in Linux — everything is transparent, native, and under your control.
A few days ago, Nana, published a post about basic Linux. In short, she explained why it’s important. Mastery of details! I’m drawn to a meticulous approach to learning. It’s better than when people skip the basics and jump straight into advanced topics like Kubernetes or more.
I remember when the teacher navigated in the CLI, created directories and files, wrote config . It completely blew my mind — his prog speed was incredible to me. Today many details felt familiar. But when I came across new concepts, I was excited - it means I’m on the right path
So, about Linux on a local virtual machine — I tried to install VirtualBox by Oracle on my MacBook with an M chip, but it was a bad idea. Nana recommended installing the UTM app on a MacBook with an M chip and installing Ubuntu there instead. This option worked! Let’s go up)
Yesterday I learned that Android is actually based on the Linux kernel — pretty cool, right? Big thanks to Linus Torvalds! Today I’m experimenting with a virtual machine from Oracle. Let’s see what new experiences await!
Hey everyone! I’ve just started learning a new profession — DevOps! I joined the TechWorld with Nana @Njuchi_ Bootcamp to level up my developer skills. It’s such an amazing opportunity, and I’ll be sharing my progress every day!
