Before taking over power, the CCP organized unions & instigated strikes to undermine businesses in the name of fighting for the working class & for fairness.
After it took power, the CCP neutered unions & banned strikes. Mao famously said that we were all people’s servants regardless what we did. In other words there was no difference btw those who made a starvation wage & the new ruling class w/ special privileges bc “all work is revolutionary work”. That’s Communist equity: the emperor & his slaves were “equal”.
The American Marxists tell us that all work is skilled work, therefore should be paid equally. If you don’t know history, you won’t know that they don’t fight for equity; they fight for power.
