Am I the only one who believes health care costs for families would drop dramatically if insurance companies were to act as insurance is intended... a stop gap measure instead of dictating every doctor visit and xray? I don't have the answer to doing away with obamacare, but it's an expensive, punitive system that turns your health care decisions over to your insurance company. It's not working.

Leave it to @MSNBC to glorify a man who abandoned his own child in a vehicle to go and attack federal law enforcement, wielding a hammer and throwing rocks at law enforcement.
When he was arrested for assault they found a pistol in his car that was reported stolen out of the state of New York. He has an active warrant for property damage.
Law enforcement rightly looked over the child until they were in the safe custody of a guardian.

Young people who prefer socialism to capitalism have no doubt been influenced by ideologically-slanted institutions of higher education, but they also conflate capitalism with some of the perversions of free enterprise they have seen in their lifetimes: Wall St. bailouts, corporate welfare and cronyism. These perversions are basically a form of venture socialism for the well-connected and are anathema to a true market-based economy.

We must stop taxpayer money from going to insurance companies and instead give it directly to Americans in HSA-style accounts and let them buy the health care they want. This will increase competition & drive down costs.
